CNCTAL Commercial Terms

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the general conditions for quotations, CNC machining orders, technical files, payment, delivery, quality inspection and confidentiality when working with CNCTAL.

Last updated: June 6, 2026

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the CNCTAL website and to inquiries, quotations, orders and manufacturing services provided by Dongguan Gemini Hardware Products Co., Ltd. By submitting an RFQ, sending technical files or placing an order with CNCTAL, you agree to the terms described below.

These terms are intended to provide clear commercial guidelines for CNC machining projects. Specific written agreements, purchase orders or signed contracts may override these general terms where applicable.

Quotation Validity

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 30 calendar days from the quotation date.

Payment Terms

Prototype and small orders may require full payment before production. Production orders may require a deposit before manufacturing.

Technical Files

Accurate STEP/STP files, 2D drawings, tolerances and material requirements help ensure accurate pricing and production.

Quality Claims

Any quality claim should be submitted within 30 days after receipt of goods, together with photos, measurements or inspection evidence.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, uploading drawings, requesting a quotation or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.

2. RFQs and Quotations

CNCTAL provides quotations based on the information supplied by the customer, including drawings, CAD files, materials, quantities, tolerances, surface finishing requirements and delivery expectations.

  • All quotations are subject to technical review.
  • Quoted prices may change if drawings, specifications, quantities or delivery requirements are revised.
  • Unless otherwise specified, quotations are valid for 30 calendar days.
  • CNCTAL reserves the right to decline projects that are outside our manufacturing capability or commercial scope.

3. Drawings, CAD Files and Technical Requirements

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate technical information. For accurate quotation and production, we recommend submitting:

  • 3D CAD files such as STEP, STP, IGS or X_T
  • 2D drawings with tolerances and critical dimensions
  • Material grade and surface finishing requirements
  • Quantity, application and any special inspection requirements

If drawings or specifications are incomplete, CNCTAL may provide an estimated quotation or request additional information before production.

4. Orders and Production

An order is confirmed only after both parties agree on the quotation, technical requirements, payment terms and delivery conditions. Production will normally start after receipt of the required payment, deposit or written purchase order confirmation.

Any design changes after order confirmation may affect pricing, lead time and production feasibility.

5. Pricing and Payment Terms

Prices are based on the agreed drawings, specifications, material, quantity, machining difficulty, finishing requirements and inspection requirements.

  • Prototype or small-volume orders may require 100% payment before production.
  • Production orders may require a deposit before manufacturing and balance payment before shipment.
  • Bank charges, payment transfer fees, taxes, customs duties and import charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
  • CNCTAL may suspend production or shipment if payment is delayed.

6. Lead Time and Delivery

Lead times are estimated based on material availability, production capacity, machining complexity, surface finishing and inspection requirements.

  • Lead time starts after order confirmation, payment arrangement and final technical approval.
  • Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing.
  • Delays caused by design changes, late payment, material shortages, customs clearance, logistics issues or force majeure are not the responsibility of CNCTAL.

7. Shipping, Customs and Import Duties

CNCTAL can support international shipping by express courier, air freight or other agreed logistics methods. Unless otherwise agreed, shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes and local clearance fees are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Quality, Inspection and Acceptance

CNCTAL inspects parts according to the approved drawings, agreed specifications and applicable inspection requirements.

  • Standard inspection is performed before shipment.
  • Inspection reports may be provided upon request.
  • Special inspection, CMM reports, material certificates or full dimensional reports should be requested before quotation or order confirmation.
  • Parts are considered accepted if no written quality claim is submitted within the claim period stated below.

9. Quality Claims and Non-Conformance

Any quality claim must be submitted within 30 days after receipt of goods. The claim should include clear evidence such as photos, inspection reports, measurement data, affected quantities and a description of the issue.

If CNCTAL confirms that the issue was caused by our manufacturing process and does not meet the agreed specifications, we may offer repair, replacement, rework, credit or another reasonable solution agreed by both parties.

CNCTAL is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect drawings, incomplete specifications, customer design errors, unsuitable material selection, improper use, improper assembly or post-processing performed by others.

10. Intellectual Property

All customer drawings, CAD files, product designs, technical documents and intellectual property remain the property of the customer. CNCTAL will use such information only for quotation, engineering review, production and quality control related to the customer’s project.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the submitted design does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

11. Confidentiality

CNCTAL treats customer project information, drawings and technical files as confidential. We do not sell, publish or disclose customer technical information to unrelated third parties.

Where required, CNCTAL may sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement before receiving detailed technical documents.

12. Website Information

The information on the CNCTAL website is provided for general reference only. While we try to keep information accurate and updated, manufacturing feasibility, tolerance, material selection, surface finish and lead time must be confirmed based on the specific project requirements.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CNCTAL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, production downtime or loss of data.

CNCTAL’s total liability for any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific goods or services giving rise to the claim.

14. Force Majeure

CNCTAL shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemic, government restrictions, labor disruption, material shortages, transportation delays, customs issues or other force majeure events.

15. Changes to These Terms

CNCTAL may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
